Epson's TM-U220 impact printers are compact, reliable and optimized for high-speed throughput. They offer all the easy-to-use features important to the retail, restaurant and hospitality industries and two-color printing to highlight special offers, kitchen orders and impactful logos. In addition, the TM-U220 printers have been designed to be 100% compatible with existing systems that currently use a TM-U200 printer.

- Print speeds up to 4.6 lines-per-second, 30% faster than the previous TM-U200 series
- Drop-in paper load - a feature introduced for the first time to Epson impact dot matrix receipt printers, which allows effortless changing of paper rolls
- Features daughter board connectivity option - gives you access now or in the future to Epson's range of interfaces, including serial, parallel, USB, Ethernet and wireless 802.11b
- Wall mounting option - allows the Epson TM-U220 to be mounted on the wall, ideal for hospitality applications - Right-side-up printing for kitchen orders
- Increased data buffer at 4KB
- Two-color black and red receipt and order printing

Other features include a paper end detector that automatically alerts the user when the printer is out of paper, an automatic cutter and the ability to print one original plus two copies.
